About Us
Wetherby Growth and its principals have a long track record of sourcing, building and commercializing small-cap opportunities across gold and precious metals, renewable energy, AI, crypto and other emerging sectors. We monetized early cannabis investments at sector peak, anticipated the rise of psychedelic therapeutics, and have recently redeployed capital into the re-emerging junior mining market, with a strong emphasis on precious and critical metals exploration and development. Notable go-public transactions include Newstrike Brands and Westbridge Renewable Energy Corp; several other listings have delivered triple-digit returns.
Our leadership team brings more than eighty years of collective experience in global deal-making and public-market execution. The group blends seasoned investors, serial entrepreneurs, and legal and finance specialists with backgrounds at UBS, RBS, Baker McKenzie and the TMX Group. The Fund is domiciled in the Cayman Islands / Turks and Caicos, with team members based in London (UK), Toronto (Canada) and Spain.
Our Portfolio
The Fund maintains a diversified, geographically diverse pipeline of companies in Europe, Asia and North America. Holdings include businesses we seeded and companies we are actively preparing for IPO or other liquidity events. We recently expanded available capital to capture high-ROI, event-driven opportunities and are currently focused on the precious and critical metals sectors. We invest our own capital alongside limited partners and apply rigorous, repeatable due diligence and active board or operational involvement when appropriate.

He has led successful RTOs, is a multi-exit founder, and a former executive at the TMX Group. His mining investments span gold, copper, and uranium projects across Guyana, Nevada, Quebec, Newfoundland, and Nunavut.

Conrad has more than 20 years of experience working at global law firms, most recently in the banking and finance department at Baker McKenzie and with various private equity firms. He serves as Non-Executive Director of the software firm, Grafenia plc.

He has extensive experience working in private equity, finance and with institutional investors. Ron was co-Founder of KC Capital and a corporate financier at UBS Warburg. With Scott, he co-led the successful RTO financing for Newstrike Brands. Ron is the Managing Director of West Wind Ventures Ltd. in London, UK.
