About Us
We have invested in Renewable Energy, Plant-based Foods, AI, Crypto, and Cyber Security. We monetized early Cannabis investments while the sector was strong and anticipated the emergence of Psychedelic Therapeutics. Examples of successful “go public” executions include Newstrike Brands, Entheon Biomedical and Westbridge Energy Corp. We have achieved triple-digit returns on several listings and exits.
Wetherby Growth’s principals have more than eight decades of collective expertise in global deal-making and taking companies public. Our team are experienced investors, serial entrepreneurs, legal and financial specialists who are alumni of UBS, RBS, Baker McKenzie and the TMX Group. We have a Cayman Island domiciled fund with team members based in London, England, Toronto, Canada and in Spain.
Our Portfolio
The Venture Fund features companies from Europe, Asia, and North America at the forefront of life sciences, electric vehicles, renewable energy, cyber security and other high-growth sectors. This includes firms we have taken public and private companies we are preparing for public listings or other monetized exits. The Fund has recently increased available capital to take advantage of new deals with high ROI & IRR potential. We are nimble and opportunistic investors who take due diligence seriously, as we invest our own capital along with our limited partners.

Conrad is an experienced investor, board member, entrepreneur and strategic advisor in sectors including cannabis, psychedelic medicine, healthcare, blockchain and manufacturing. Conrad has more than 20 years of experience working at global law firms, most recently in the banking and finance department at Baker McKenzie and with various private equity firms. He serves as Non-Executive Director of the software firm, Grafenia plc.
